For more than a decade, Internet marketing has revolutionized the home-based business model. Gone are the days of having to go from store to store, trying to sell those cookies, scarves, or grandma’s secret applesauce. Today’s entrepreneurs are only armed with a laptop and an idea. I’m not making fun of the guys who have “done” it the conventional way, but let’s face it, we’re not all idea types. I mean how many people would have thought to take a skateboard wheel bearing and encase it in plastic to make a Fidget Spinner. That simple design has started a network of businesses in the billions.
So how does the average Joe start his own home-based business, if he doesn’t have a billion dollar toy idea? Simple, email marketing. Now, I know email marketing has been around for a while, but it’s still the best and MOST effective way to generate a steady and viable income with the least amount of effort. What? The least amount of effort? I must be full of bs for making such a statement right? Since the inception of the dotcom business model, the Internet has produced more self-made millionaires than any other media or advertising medium.
Now just think about it, you probably received an email from a store thanking you for signing up for credit. Or, you’ve entered your email address into the subscription box of your favorite news channel to get all the latest sports headlines straight to your inbox. Well, you are part of an email marketing campaign, on the receiving end anyway. Now, these companies regularly inform you about what’s the next big thing or event, right? Now, what if you are the person sending these notifications and you embed a link in the message that sends the reader to a sales page of your choice? The reader then buys what you are offering. instant cash.
I mean, it’s not some big unheard-of secret that’s only talked about in select circles. The only method of capitalizing on this concept is to send large amounts of emails. Imagine sending out a hundred thousand emails, ten percent visit the sales page, and of that, only ten percent buy the product you’re promoting. So, if the item you’re selling is only $1, you’re still making a whopping $1,000 from one email. I don’t know about you, but that’s a lot of money for very little effort. And at regular weekly intervals, by sending emails, you will earn money every time. Little effort equals a lot of money. The beauty of this business model is that you don’t need substantial start-up capital, you don’t even need to quit your current job. I mean, you’ll only need to run your internet marketing business for 1-2 hours a day to see a steady stream of income. So when you send an email, say at lunchtime, by dinner you will have earned a hefty sum of cash. And with multiple email lists and different niches, you can spread this out over a couple of days, switching between lists.
