It seems that Apple Inc. is flying high again this year with the successful launch of its new generation of iPhone. Getting a whopping 5 million units in three days, the iPhone 5 must be promising.
But what makes this iPhone so different from its predecessors that it gets people excited about it?
It has a wider screen, not the widest among all smartphones, but the Cupertino giant says there’s a science to it. The iPhone is specifically made that way so that it is literally easy to hold in your hands. Using the average size of the human thumb as the basis for screen size, the phone can be easily held in one hand and navigated with the thumb. The only downside is the back button in the top left corner which can make navigation difficult due to its wider screen.
Also, the phone offers users an 8 megapixel camera with LED flash. The camera can deliver photos with resolutions of 3264 by 2448 pixels. It has an autofocus capability and this can return shots. And, speaking for photography fans, the same camera offers an option to take panoramic shots, and it also has face detection, geo-tagging and HDR features. It’s also thinner and lighter, but it can’t take the throne of the thinnest and lightest smartphone. on the market, but it is certainly one of the slimmest.
A big upgrade is the increased viewing experience of the 326 pixels per inch retina display. It is an excellent choice for games and movies. Finished with the exterior, let’s see what the core has to offer. It has the latest generation of iOS, a faster processor that makes everything snappy and fast. It also has a longer battery life, all of which are calibrated for developers, gamers, movie lovers, and phone enthusiasts. The idea of using the phone to its full capacity and its excellent user interface without the anxiety of losing its power is just amazing.
Another significant change made by Tim Cook and his team is that the phone can be operated even by users of the AT&T network. This feature was not available on all previous versions of the phone.
Like all iPhone devices, it is protected by the tech giant’s restricted software that allows it to completely monopolize apps and maintain the legitimacy of its approved software.
A few more months or maybe a year and surely the Cupertino tech giant has something new for us, in the meantime, let’s enjoy all the possibilities and pleasure that iPhone 5 has to offer.
