Throughout our life, we must watch countless movies for delight and entertainment and every now and then we will get one of those movies that really makes a connection. In childhood we all enjoyed Disney classics like “101 Dalmatians” or “Bambi” but although these movies have a permanent place in the heart, I don’t think too many adults include them in their top 3, it doesn’t matter having one. of them as his all-time favorite.
Is it even possible to point out one Ever favorite? It’s probably like asking a chocoholic to name his favorite chocolate bar!
Movies fit niches in your life and for me; I tend to have favorites from every stage of my life. When I was a teenager, and for some time afterwards, my favorite movie was definitely “Grease.” Most of my classmates wanted to be Sandy and they adored John Travolta as Danny. I think what made that movie an all-time favorite was the fact that it was bolstered by the hits it produced. There were so many hits that they kept us going all summer long! It was one of those movies that made you feel good and I think that The fact also helped him keep his place in my heart.
Of course, there are also the “old classics” that are repeated over and over at parties like “The Sound Of Music” and “Oliver!” and all the Bond movies. One of those movies that I love to watch over and over again is “Calamity Jane.” I love Doris Day’s singing and acting. My favorite part of that movie would be where he sings “Secret Love.”
Later in my life, I was greatly impressed and moved by “Shindler’s List.” What an emotional and thought-provoking movie that was. I also loved many other Steven Spielberg proposals, the Indiana Jones movies, “Jurassic Park.” What a genius Spielberg is. favorite movie director of all time I was looking, so it would be simple, Spielberg surely would be.
However, as much as I like Spielberg’s films, I don’t think any of his pretty makes my number one spot. If I had to be stranded on a desert island for life and could only watch one movie, I would choose one with a bit of a wellness factor. As an impossible task to choose, I think I would take “Calamity Jane”. – at least that’s what I think today anyway!
So what is your favorite movie of all time?
